The raw material and ingredients used in this product are very similar to the previous ones, however this Paio is a typical Alentejano sausage, of intense flavor in which is well denoted the flavor of the traditional smoker, its soft texture and strong aroma distinguish it. It’s the right choose for the lovers.
It should be consumed preferably raw and in very thin slices.
Before opening: Store in a cool, dry place. After opening: At home you can pack in the refrigerator using some techniques that safeguard the appearance of molds and at the same time ensuring the freshness of the product (to avoid drying too much),wrap product after cutting on a leaf of fresh lettuce, then in aluminum foil and store in the less humid part of your refrigerator, eg door.
