Electronic Complaint Book

Decree-Law 74/2017 aims to become a reality of complaints book in physical and electronic format.

This content is taken by public service providers (gas, water, electricity, etc.) and becomes mandatory for suppliers of goods and service providers as from 1 July 2018.

Portaria 201-A / 2017 defines the new model of complaints book in physical format and also in digital format.

The complaints book in digital format must be purchased at the online shop of the National Press – Casa da Moeda, where it will be available.

Complaints in electronic format can be used in the Digital Platform for this purpose at

Osway must disclose access to the complaints book in electronic form not their Internet site.

A complaint filed in the Electronic Complaints Book has the same claim guarantee in the paper complaints book.
